I’m free!

Well, that’s it. It’s official now. I am free! I no longer have a job. After 4 years in Xerox/IBM today was my last day. I will start the new year unemployed! JOYYYYYY!!! WHIEEEEE!! Yes I’m happy! Why? Well, I got a smack load of money, I no longer have to wake up at 6 in the morning to go to work and in 10 days my mom will come to Ireland, we will pack my stuff, clean the house and on the 14Th of January, I will move back to the Netherlands. I will be able to see my friends and family on a regular basis. I am HAPPY!
It was great living in Ireland… most of the time. I’ve had some suck ass times that I would sooner forget than remember, but I’ve made some friends and had some great times. I’ve traveled in Ireland and learned surfing and went hiking with people from work. I’ve learned a few words in other languages, which is always a pleasure. I’ve learned to understand a little Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish, but only when I read it, hahaha. Spanish and Italian as well, but seriously… only when I read it! German has never been much of a problem for me, but French… well.. I hadn’t spoken or read French in about 10 years, hahaha. But hey, that’s one of the better things of working in a multi linguistic company right?
I’ve also learned to care for myself some more. I’ve always been a little indipendent, but now I had to live on my own for the first time. It was hard, but I learned a lot. Like… don’t let strange people in your house
I don’t like strangers touching my stuff!
But now the journey has ended and I am free to leave and follow my dreams. My dreams include writing. As many of you know, I write… A LOT! and I have decided to go for a Creative Writing course when I’m back in the Netherlands. One day, you will pass by a book store and see one of my books in the window. If you do, you will know I’ve made my mark on history
until then!
tata!
