Well today was the day we were going back home
No one really wanted to go home yet really, but we had little choise. First we got dressed and everything, got our stuff ready and then checked out of the hostel. Yo and Jul had to take an early bus to the airport because they had to leave early. So we got us some breakfast and headed for the trainstation. We said goodbye to them, promised we’d keep in touch more often now and waved them goodbye. After they had left, we desided to drop our bags in the safety deposit so we didn’t have to drag them all over London with us. So while we waited, I entertained the girls with some accents that got Kris laughing her ass off and a little jealous, bhahaha
So after we finally figured out where to drop our bags and waited in line for half an hour or something, we desided to head to Camden Lock. I still wanted to find that little magic shop I had seen before. We bought some coffee at Starbucks and texted my sister. We figured we could walk around Camden for a while and look at some more shops. I wanted to go shopping with Kris, but I ended hanging out with Ilse all day
We bought some awesome hats and looked at some of the KAWAII!!!! Gothic stuff. I was actually looking for a corset, but of course the one I liked turned out to be the most expensive one too. I also saw the very gorgeous Gothic Lolita dress with a piano print and matching bag, It was just too bad I didn’t have the money for it
Ilse did buy a very cute belt
and I bought some tea. When we met up with Kris and Sophie again, we looked at a bunch of musical shops with all sorts of wooden instruments. I wanted to buy a digireedoo for my brother-inlaw, but they were all huge and I couldn’t take them on the bus and boat with me without breaking them. So I left it behind
I did buy some Japanese floating flowers for my other sister, since her whole house is decorated in a Japanese style. So the flowers would fit perfectly
I also bought a cute t-shirt with two Chibi’s on it. Sophie bought a very cool bracelet thingy where we were discussing that if you bought two of the same, you had the start of an Amazon outfit. And when I say Amazon, I don’t mean men and women that ride horseback and jump over crap, I mean the fighting warrior women from Greek mythology (for example) that you can see on shows as Xena and Hercules. the REAL amazons
After we were done shopping at Camden Lock, we went back to the park where we ate lunch, and under some weird glances from other Park goers, we had some fun doing Gymnastics. Sophie and I first were playing catch with our Yankee baseball glove and ball
(we got that in New York!) and some how ended up with doing cartwheels and handstands. We found out Sophie CAN actually do cartwheels
And I freaked people out with showing how double jointed I actually am, hahaha
I think Kris is actually jealous of my legs, since I have no problem with this ballet pose thingy where the feet point outwards
After we were done in the park, we went to the Tesco again to buy somethings for the road home later on and we somehow ended up in Chinatown
where we actually found this little all-you-can-eat restaurant. It was rather cheap, so we went inside and ate
But after I ate something greasy, I ended up pking my guts out…. yeah… a real good way to start the journey home, right? But I wasn’t the only one that got sick. Kris had been feeling lousy too and the food didn’t really agree with her that much either.
So then we walked around the Chinatown part for a bit more, it actually had some great stores that I wouldn’t mind visiting next time I’m there
I deff have to go back for the eatable mikado thingies, hahaha XD So then it was pretty much time to find a trainstation so we could get back to Victoria station. We almost walked in to a Wicked news stand, that I quickly shot some pictures of (darn the people that walk infront of my camera!) So then we got back to Victoria Station, said a quick goodbye to the Wicked theater
and got our bags. We made some jokes with the guys there, since we prolly had some strange stuff in our suitcases, When we got all of our bags, we walked to the bus station and waited for the check-in time. When that time came around, we discovered that Kris, Ilse and I were on one bus and Sophie, on her own, in the other one. So Ilse, who wanted to get out in Eindhoven anyway, asked if she could change the bus to the other one, but the guy behind the window told her that wasn’t possible, because both buses were booked shut. Which turned out to be a load of bull! Because Ilse and Sophie got on the same bus together and no one complained that they had no place to sit or anything. There were still seats open on that bus. As there were in our bus! (the one Kris and I were sitting in) so then I got this text message from Sophie saying there were going back by boat, with the bus. And we drove off. Turned out we were taking the boat too, and the same one that Sophie and Ilse were on for that matter. So since it was eaaaarly in the morning, we tried to get some sleep, but the freaking chairs were impossible. So I just lay down on the ground and fell asleep there
But then we arrived back on the mainland and we had to say goodbye to Sophie and Ils, since their bus was taking another route as ours from there on. Kris and I took our seats on the bus again and put on some music and pretty much drifted off to sleep. We woke up close to Utrecht and arived about an hour earlier than expected. Kris and I said goodbye to each other and she went home and I took my train home as well. Where I arived about an hour and a half later, exhausted but happy.
London rulez, plain and simple!!
Mushi, Mushi!
