Borrowed Angels

Another glimps in the head of a crazy person

One short week in London

Quote: Up Yours!
Song: Think of me
Mood: High on high notes!

Hey peeps,

this will be my last London blog for the time being. Today was the last full day we spent in London and it was great. We were a little lazy in the morning with getting ready, so we desided we weren’t gonna go to see Billy Elliot. We first went to St. Paul’s Cathedral, it was beautiful on the outside, but when we went inside, we would have to pay 12,50 to see everything and we weren’t allowed to take pictures or anything. wtf -_- so we went to Starbucks instead, hahaha XD logical right? So after a while, we talked about getting tickets to The Phantom of the Opera, got up and got them. Row D, chair 29 to 31 of the stalls. Pretty good seats. We then talked about whether we could go see the Big Ben or not and since we still had enough time we did. We took probably way to many pictures of the Big Ben and house of Parliament. The London Eye as lit up with red lights when it got darker and this provided us with a lot of fun and crazy pictures.

Being half frozen and tired, we deside to go in search of a KFC, because Lisanne wanted to eat it. But we only had an hour before the Phantom started, so instead we went to Subway *who’d have guessed? :P * And when dinner there was done we went to the theater. We bought some merchandise and headed to our seats. We noticed there was a large amount of young teenage Spanish people, probably meaning that there was a school there, taking pictures of each and everything. But I didn’t want it to spoil the fun, because this was the first time I had ever seen Phantom… I’ve waited 14 years to see this show, damn it!! I was gonna enjoy it. The show was amazing! I sang along to almost everything, theehee, but I didn’t care. I loved every minute of the show! After the show we went to stage door, but we were the only ones O_O which is totally weird. We saw the girl that played Christine Daaye come out together with the woman that played Carlotta.  They talked and we waited, seeing many of the cast walk away without looking around even. At one point Katie (who played Christine) turned to us and asked us if we were waiting for them and we were like “yes?”  and she was ” oooh you should have interupted us!”  and we were just like “well… we thought we’d just wait until you were done” So she was signing our brochures and we talked about how I waited half my life to see this show, bahaha and she was like ” this is your first time?”  erm… yes? *chuckles* So of course we boasted being from the Netherlands and being here for the week, going back tomorrow. She asked us which shows we had seen this week, wich was Wicked and Avenue Q. She loved Wicked as well and told us about how Jacqueline Tate was in Phantom before but was in Avenue Q since this week, which we had discovered too because we recognized her from the Phantom brochure, teehee. So we had our pictures taken with katie and Melanie (carlotta) and then we walked away, desiding on the spot we were gonna go to the Stage Door of Avenue Q, just to see Paul and Jacquline, hahahaha. So we walked for like 10 minutes or something, singing Phantom and discussing what we would discuss with Paul (trust me… people must have thought us high on drugs, seeing us running across the roads because the lights were turning red as soon as we stepped out on the road. But there was no one left at the Stage door of Avenue Q, so we went to see the Priscilla; Queen of the Dessert theater to take  pictures of the giant shoe they have above the door. Then we still wanted to have some KFC, so we tried to find one, but couldn’t. So it was Mickey D as usuall :D Then the bus home, where we repacked our bags for tomorrow (I hope they won’t weigh them, I might not pass the weighing test, haha XD

And now we are back home and writing like always. But since I have to get up early in the morning, I’m off to bed now. So I wish you all a good night and talk to you soon again!

Love,
Mo
